A vegetable rich turkey spaghetti sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Veggie Spaghetti Sauce

1 pound ground turkey
361 g. onion, chopped
138 g. green pepper, chopped
171 g. celery, chopped
85 g. carrots, grated
457 g. tomato sauce
411 g. diced tomatoes
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. basil
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. white pepper
1 dash crushed red pepper

Recipe Directions for Veggie Spaghetti Sauce

  1. Brown turkey.

  2. Add onion, green pepper, celery, carrots and spices. Bring to boil, reduce heat and cook until onions are transparent.

  3. Process diced tomatoes. Add that and tomato sauce to veggie turkey mixture. Cook completely until flavors are mixed and veggies are very soft. Taste and correct flavorings.

  4. Makes 14 1/2 cup servings.
