Recipe Ingredients for Veggie Soup - Dr. OZ

1 carrots, 1/2 l.b
1 stalks celery, 2 stalks
1 onions, 1.5 cups
1 garlic cloves, 2
1 tomatoes, canned, 28o.z
1 head cabbage, 1/2 head
1 green beans, 1/2 l.b
1 zucchini, 2 small
1 spinach leaves, 6 o.z
1 salt, 1/2 tsp
1 pepper, 1/8 tsp.

Recipe Directions for Veggie Soup - Dr. OZ

  1. Coat large sauce pan with non-stick spray.

  2. Over medium heat, add carrots, celery, onions, and crushed garlic.

  3. Cook 8 minutes or until veggies soften, stirring occasionally.

  4. Add tomatoes with liquid, breaking up tomatoes.

  5. Add cabbage, green beans, 28 o.z. chicken broth, 3 cups of water, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/8 tsp pepper.

  6. Heat to boiling, then reduce and simmer for 10 minutes.

  7. Stir in zucchini and spinach and heat to boiling.

  8. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 10 minutes more.
