Tomato based veggie sauce for over pasta

Recipe Ingredients for Veggie sauce

3 cloves garlic
6 oz mushroom
4 oz onion
8 1/2 oz asparagus
796 ml canned tomato
1/4 cup basil
1/4 tsp dried chili pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Veggie sauce

  1. saute garlic and onion in non stick skillet until softened

  2. Add mushrooms and saute until softened

  3. Add canned, crushed tomatoes and asparagus, chili pepper, salt and pepper and simmer until desired consistency

  4. Serve over pasta, sprinkle with chopped basil and parmesean cheese
