Homemade Pizza dough. Yummy pizza toppings, light on cheese, heavier on veggies.

Recipe Ingredients for Veggie Pizza

2.5 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
1 oz Yeast
1 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1 tsp Sugars, Granulated
1 tsp Salt, Table
8 oz Spaghetti Sauce Chunky Vegetable
8 oz Fancy Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1/2 cup pieces Mushrooms
6 oz Peas and Carrots
1 oz Canola Oil

Recipe Directions for Veggie Pizza

  1. Stir 1 Tbsp. yeast into 1 cup warm water. Add in 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp salt and 2 Tbsp. oil. Add 2 1/2 cups flour. Allow dough to rest for 5 minutes.

  2. Spread pizza dough onto 11x17 greased cookie sheet. Top with about 1 cup of spaghetti sauce (or your favorite pizza sauce). Use 1 cup fancy shredded cheese to sprinkle over top. Spread on about 6 oz ( or about 1/3 of a cup) of frozen peas and carrots (or your choice of frozen veggies.) (not necessary to thaw) Spread drained mushrooms over rest of veggies.

  3. Bake for 15 minutes at 425.
