Recipe Ingredients for Veggie Pita Pizza

0.5 medium raw Onion Red
0.25 large (2-1/4 per lb, approx 3-3/4" long, 3" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Green
0.25 cup, chopped Broccoli
0.25 cup Pasta Sauce
1/4 cup Crystal Farms Reduced Fat Mozzarella Shredded Cheese
1 oz Whole Wheat Pita Bread

Recipe Directions for Veggie Pita Pizza

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

  2. Chop 1/2 of a red onion, 1/4 of a green pepper, and 1/4 of semi-cooked broccoli and place aside.

  3. Use 1/4 of a cup of Ragu Light Sauce (or your favorite sauce) and spread around the pita bread.

  4. Add the vegetables on top of the sauce and season to taste (salt, pepper, oregano, and basil is what I used).

  5. Add 1/4 of a cup of reduced fat mozzarella shreaded cheese on top.

  6. Place pizza directly on oven rake and cook for 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and the pita bread is golden brown on the edges.

  7. Remove and cut into four sections and enjoy!
