Curry and cumin makes this soup so tasty but it's also hearthy and healthy

Recipe Ingredients for Veggie and Lentil Soup

2 tablespoons red lentils
2 tablespoons green lentils
2 tablespoons white rice
1 cup carrot, sliced
1 cup leek, sliced
1 cup onion, cut
1/2 cup zucchini (or pumpkin)
5 cups water
1 tablespoon virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon paprika
2 teaspoons dried tomatoes, powdered
1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Recipe Directions for Veggie and Lentil Soup

  1. Boil the water and add lentils and rice.

  2. Cut all the veggies in small cubes (or slice) and add to the boiling lentils.

  3. Twenty minutes later add dried tomatoes and spices.

  4. Cook until everything is soft.

  5. Add olive oil before serving.
