A variation on my super easy veggie fried rice!

Recipe Ingredients for Veggie fried brown rice (variation)

1 cup Rice, Brown, Long-grain, Cooked
0.25 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms
0.25 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Red
0.25 cup Edamame
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 serving Mirin

Recipe Directions for Veggie fried brown rice (variation)

  1. Add the veggies to a hot pan with or without oil. Let them brown and become fragrant. Then remove from pan.

  2. If using protein, cook that next. Chicken, tofu or eggs are all really good with this recipe.

  3. Finally, add the rice and let brown a bit. Then add the mirin and the soy sauce. Finally, add the vegetables and protein back and let everything cook together for another minute.
