This is a old recipe, for a hearty chili without meat.

Recipe Ingredients for Veggie chili

2 cups tomatoes
1 red onion, chopped
1 white onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 cup corn
2 cans red kidney beans
3 banana peppers
2 tsp Tabasco sauce
3 cloves garlic
1 tsp turmeric
6 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp soy sauce
3 tbsp sambal oelek

Recipe Directions for Veggie chili

  1. Fry onions and kidney beans till onions are almost clear

  2. add in rest of ingredients

  3. salt and pepper to taste

  4. let simmer and reduce for at least 2 hours on low heat.
