Veggie burgers made with bulgur and garbanzo beans.

Recipe Ingredients for Veggie burgers - bulgur

1/2 cup onion, diced
1 1/4 cups vegetable broth
1 1/2 cup bulgur
1 cup garbanzo beans
4 ounces peas
1 pinch salt
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for Veggie burgers - bulgur

  1. put onions in a pot with the broth, bring to a boil.

  2. Add bulgur, garbanzos and peas, stir until combined. Remove from heat and let stand 15 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.

  3. Use a potato masher to bash ingredients together. Fold in the parmesan cheese. Form into 4 patties and cook in a non-stick pan until heated through and gbd, about 3 minutes per side.
