Veggie burger with beans, tofu, oats and vegetables

Recipe Ingredients for veggie burger

1/4 cup red onion, diced
3 tbsp Black Olives, diced
1/4 cup, Red Peppers, Sweet, diced
1/4 cup Peppers, Jalapeno, diced
4 clove Garlic, chopped
3 pieces with liquid Artichoke Hearts, diced
4 oz Peas Chick
4 oz Black Beans
4 oz Great Northern Beans
2 cups Old Fashioned Quaker Oats
1/2 cups Bread Crumbs, Dry, Whole Wheat, Plain
7 oz Mori-nu, Tofu, Silken, Firm
1 large Egg, Whole
2 tsp Oregano, Ground
1 tbsp Parsley
1 tsp Spices Crushed Red Peppers
2 tbsp, ground Basil, Dried

Recipe Directions for veggie burger

  1. Saute all raw vegetables except beans till translucent. Remove and cool. Mash all beans and mix with vegetables.

  2. Add all dry ingredients and eggs and thoroughly mix. Form into desired patties and refrigerate for 30 min.

  3. Saute burgers on med heat for 3 min each side or grill burgers for 6 min each side.
