Just the patty. Very versatile. Can use any dry soup or dry salad dressing mix and really any combination of beans/legumes. I didn't have dry soybeans the first time I made it so I increased the qty of others and it turned out great. Super easy and waaaaay more economical than frozen burgers.

Recipe Ingredients for Veggie Burger - Homemade

1/2 c Dry garbanzo beans
1/2 c Dry soybeans
1/2 c Dry lentils
1/2 c Yellow split peas
1/2 c Instant brown rice
1/2 c Rolled oats
39 g onion soup mix
1/4 c Bread crumbs
1/4 c Cornmeal
1 1/2 tsp Baking soda

Recipe Directions for Veggie Burger - Homemade

  1. Put the ingredients one by one in a blender. Turn on the blender and reduced to powder. Store in a container.

  2. To use, mix 1 cup of the mix with 2/3 cup HOT water or whatever other liquid you can think of. Let sit 15 minutes.

  3. Form into 3 patties. Cook in a pan coated with nonstick spray.
