Recipe Ingredients for Veggie Burger Helper

369 grams Meatless Ground
1 1/2 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1 1/2 cup Milk, Reduced Fat, Fluid, 2% Milkfat
2 cup elbow shaped Macaroni
1 tbsp Corn Starch
1 tbsp Chili Powder
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Salt, Table
4 serving Fancy Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese

Recipe Directions for Veggie Burger Helper

  1. Brown the veggie grounds in a large skillet.

  2. Add hot water, milk, pasta, and all dry ingredients (everything but the cheese).

  3. Bring to a boil.

  4. Cover and simmer on low for about 12 minutes, until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.

  5. In the last few minutes of cook time, stir in the shredded cheese and cover again.

  6. Once the pasta is fully cooked, remove from heat, uncover and let stand for 5 mins to let the sauce thicken.
