448 grams linguine
1 tbl butter
3 tbl flaxseed oil
3 cloves garlic
2 cups beans
1 1/2 cups skim milk
1 cup asparagus

Recipe Directions for Vegetarian White Bean 'Alfredo' with Linguine

  1. cook pasta in lightly salted boiling water for 11 minutes

  2. stir occasionally

  3. drain well

  4. melt butter over medium heat in saucepan

  5. stir in garlic cook until golden brown

  6. puree beans, milk and add to saucepan

  7. add asaparagus to saucepan

  8. cook until tender

  9. season to taste

  10. toss pasta with sauce and serve
