Recipe Ingredients for Vegetarian Sticky Fingers

9 oz. firm tofu
5 Pepper, Serrano
3/4 tablespoon minced Garlic
1/4 cup Onions
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Olive Oil
1 cup Water
1/2 cup Red Wine Vinegar
1/8 cup Honey

Recipe Directions for Vegetarian Sticky Fingers

  1. Take firm tofu and slice it into strip sizes of your liking.

  2. Make sauce:

  3. Gut peppers and cut into slices. Put Serrano Chiles, Garlic, Onions, and Salt in a food processor and blend until fine. Put oil in a sauce pan and put on high heat. Add in the blended mixture. Sauté for 3-5 minutes. Add water and let cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Let set until sauce cools. When sauce is at room temperature, put back in food processor and blend while slowly adding vinegar. If necessary, strain mixture through a fine mesh.

  4. Heat spicy wing sauce in a large or medium skillet. When heated add in tofu strips. Sear the strips on each side.

  5. Put strips and extra sauce on plate and enjoy!

  6. *you can complement it with some celery or lettuce if you like.
