Vegetarian split pea. Use vegetable broth and omit milk to make it vegan.

Recipe Ingredients for Vegetarian Split Pea Soup

16 oz Split Peas
4 cup (8 fl oz) Soup, Chicken Broth Or Bouillon
4 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
3 medium Carrots
1 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) Celery
3 clove Garlic
1 tsp Pepper, Black
0.5 oz Bay Leaves
1 cup Milk, Reduced Fat, Fluid, 2% Milkfat

Recipe Directions for Vegetarian Split Pea Soup

Chop onion, garlic, carrots and celery. Add all ingredients except milk into a slow cooker. Set on low for 7 hours or high for 5 hours. Stir in milk, then serve.
