Same Shepherd's Pie, with a little more "meat" and no mushroom soup.

Recipe Ingredients for Vegetarian Shepherd's Pie II

2 medium potatoes, boiled, without skin, mashed
1/4 cup fat free milk
1 1/2 cup mixed vegetables
2 cup Morningstar Farms Meal Starters Grillers Recipe Crumbles
1/2 tsp celery salt
1/2 tsp savory
1/2 cup Reduced Fat Mild Cheddar Cheese

Recipe Directions for Vegetarian Shepherd's Pie II

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees

  2. Peel potatoes, wash, chop, and boil until tender. Mash to desired consistency. Add 1/4 cup milk. Season as desired (I like Mrs. Dash)

  3. Meanwhile, cook mixed vegetables in microwave. Add to small pan sprayed with Pam or other non-stick spray

  4. Microwave Crumbles, then mix in pan with vegetables (no layers this time)

  5. Spread potatoes on top of mixture, sprinkle with cheese, and cook in oven for 12-15 minutes (or until cheese is adequately melted/browned)
