Mmmm good gravy for when you are craving a "hearty" or "meaty" meal.

Recipe Ingredients for Vegetarian Sausage Gravy

1/2 cup Breakfast Sausage Mix
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1 salt
1 pepper

Recipe Directions for Vegetarian Sausage Gravy

  1. Brown and crumble Vegetarian Sausage (I use GimmieLean ground sausage by Litelife) in olive oil

  2. Lower heat on stove, then add flour a table spoon add at time, and stir well

  3. Add some milk (I use soy milk that is not sweetened)

  4. continue stirring, and adding either flour or milk until you reach the right amount of gravy per sausage chunk (just eye it) and that it is the right thickness

  5. Usually as the gravy cools it will get even thicker so end thin

  6. Add salt, pepper, cayenne, and garlic to taste
