1 can Hunts Fire Roasted diced tomatoes, 1 can Hunts Petite diced tomatoes, 1 LG can San Marzano whole peeled tomatoes and 1 can Contadina tomato paste with roasted garlic.

Recipe Ingredients for Vegetarian Pasta Sauce

3 1/2 cups petite diced tomatoes
3 1/2 cups san marzano tomatoes
6 oz Tomato paste
5 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 white onion, diced fine
1 zucchini, diced
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper

Recipe Directions for Vegetarian Pasta Sauce

  1. Add olive oil, onion and zucchini to pan, saute until soft. Add tomatoes to pan until cooked. Remove all to blender and blend until blended - 2 batches. Add seasonings, cook with lid on until heated through for 15 minutes on med-high heat.

  2. Serve over whole wheat pasta.
