Vegetarian meatballs. Serve with homemade or commercial barbeque sauce. Can also be used in any tomato-based recipe.

Recipe Ingredients for Vegetarian Meatballs

1/2 c. cracker crumbs
1/2 c. shredded 2% cheese
3/4 c. chopped onion
3 eggs
1/2 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. ground pecans
1 T. dried parsley
1 dash garlic powder
1 dash sage

Recipe Directions for Vegetarian Meatballs

  1. Mix all ingredients together. Shape into balls. Spray a cookie sheet with Pam. Bake meatballs for about 20 minutes.

  2. Cover with sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.

  3. You can make these in larger quantity and freeze.
