Meatballs, Onions and Mushrooms in a savory gravy over Rice

Recipe Ingredients for Vegetarian Meatballs and Gravy

10 oz Mushrooms
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
1/2 tbsp Oil, Peanut
0.13 tsp Ground Black Pepper
1/2 tsp Vegetable Base
0.13 serving Wheat Free Organic Tamari Soy Sauce
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Country Dijon Mustard
1/2 tablespoons Nutritional Yeast
1 serving Corn Starch
1/4 cup (8 fl oz) Water
3 tbsp Better Than Sour Cream
18 meatballs Meatless Meatballs
1 cup Rice, Brown, Medium-grain, Cooked

Recipe Directions for Vegetarian Meatballs and Gravy

  1. Saute chopped onions and sliced mushrooms in peanut oil over medium-low heat until soft.

  2. Add garlic powder, tamari, yeast, vegetable base, salt and pepper. Dissolve one teaspoon corn starch in 1 tsp cold water and add.

  3. Add 1/4 cup water. Add more water if needed. Then add meatballs. When all heated through add Sour Cream. Serve over cooked brown rice. So yummy!
