Recipe Ingredients for Vegetarian Chilli with Tortillas

175 g soya mince
1 onion
1 green pepper
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp ground cumin
400 g tinned tomatoes
200 g kidney beans
4 wheat tortillas
30 g cheddar cheese
2 tbsp sour cream
50 g lettuce

Recipe Directions for Vegetarian Chilli with Tortillas

  1. Soak the soya mince as indicated on the packet.

  2. Fry the onion gently until soft or for about 7 minutes.

  3. Add the mince, chilli, cumin, tomatoes and kidney beans and bring to the boil.

  4. Reduce the heat and cover and cook for 30 minutes.

  5. Warm the tortillas in the microwave.

  6. Serve the chilli wrapped in the tortillas with cheese, sour cream, and lettuce.
