Recipe Ingredients for Vegetarian Chili

1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 pound ground turkey or ground meat substitute (such as Boca crumbles)
1/2 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
28 ounces tomatoes, crushed, undrained (1 can)
16 ounces kidney beans, drained (1 can)
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1 pinch of cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon vinegar, wine
1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon turmeric

Recipe Directions for Vegetarian Chili

Heat oil in a large saucepan. Add turkey, onion and garlic; cook 5 minutes stirring frequently. Add remaining ingredients; simmer uncovered 25 minutes.
