Vegetarian chili with white beans and TVP

Recipe Ingredients for Vegetarian Chili

1 tbsp olive oil
1 large onion, diced
2 red peppers, diced
1 tbsp paprika
1/4 tsp chili powder
1/3 cup soy protein, defatted (TVP), rehydrated
800 g tomatoes
400 g white beans
1/2 cup water

Recipe Directions for Vegetarian Chili

  1. Fry onion and peppers with spices in olive oil.

  2. Add rehydrated TVP and fry for a few more minutes.

  3. Add tomatoes, white beans and water and simmer for 20 minutes.
