Recipe Ingredients for Vegetarian Burritos

5 oz kidney Beans, canned
2 tbsp Splenda
2 tsp olive oil
1 tsp Onion powder
1 tbsp Chili powder
1 medium yellow onion, chopped
12 oz Meal Starters Grillers Recipe Crumbles
3 tbsp tomato Paste
1 tsp Olive Oil
1/2 large Tomato, diced
2 1/2 oz mozzarella
5 Whole Wheat Tortillas

Recipe Directions for Vegetarian Burritos

  1. mash or puree the beans, splenda, 2 olive oil and onion and chili powder in a food processor.

  2. Saute the onion in 1 tsp olive oil until slightly tender.

  3. Add Crumbles and tomato paste and tomatoes to onions and heat until hot.

  4. Assemble the burritos by spreading 1/5 of the bean mix, 1/5 of the crumbles mix and 1/5 of the cheese onto the middle of each tortilla.

  5. Roll/fold into burritos.

  6. If desired wrap in foil and heat in 300 degree oven for about 10 minutes to heat through.

  7. If you like it spicier, add a few sliced jalepeno peppers with the filling. Serve with salsa.
