Recipe Directions for Vegetarian Biryani (Patak's)

  1. Saute onion in oil until golden.

  2. Add spice paste, carrots, broccoli. Stir and saute 3 minutes.

  3. Add rice, tomatoes and water. Stir often until rice is cooked, adding water if necessary (about 20 minutes for white rice, 50 minutes for brown rice).
