Recipe Ingredients for Vegetarian Alfredo

2 tbs Smart Balance Light
1 tbs Flour
1 cup Silk Soy Milk Light
4 oz (1 cup) Veggie Shreds-Mozzarella flavor
8 oz mushrooms, sliced
1 tsp garlic, minced
1/4 tsp white pepper
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tsp parsley, dried

Recipe Directions for Vegetarian Alfredo

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan. Add flour.

  2. Add soy milk, cheese, and mushrooms. Stir over low heat until cheese is completely melted.

  3. Add vegetable broth (low sodium) until desired consistency and volume is reached. Stir in spices.

  4. Serve over hot pasta.
