Which vegetables are good for dipping in salsa?

Salsa seems to be a great snack food, but I don't want to eat it with tortilla chips. What are good vegetables or low calorie foods to dip into a bowl of yummy fresh salsa?


These vegetables are great for dipping:  asparagus spears (blanched), bell peppers (sliced), broccoli and cauliflower florets (blanched), carrot, celery, cucumber, zucchini and yellow squash sticks, cherry tomatoes, mushroom buttons, and radishes among others.   You can also dip baked tortilla and pita chips, sliced baguette rounds, and string cheese.  Use the the Calorie Count Recipe Browserto find recipes for baked chips and watch a cooking demonstration at
