Recipe Directions for Vegetable Stew With Diced Ham

  1. Chop carrots, celery, onion

  2. Heat oil in stock pot

  3. Add carrots, celery, onion, salt

  4. Sweat for about 10 minutes until onion starts to become translucent

  5. Add chicken stock and water

  6. Add codrriander, cumin, black pepper, crushed red pepper and mesquite seasoning

  7. Add beans (or other legume)

  8. Add diced red peppers

  9. Add mushrooms, tomatos, potatoes

  10. Stir in chopped spinnach

  11. Cook for 45 minutes

  12. Stir in diced ham

  13. Cook 10 or 15 minutes longer
