Good soup with V-8 juice, 1 lb ground turkey, green peas, green vegetables, mushrooms and 1/2 cup of barley. Add potatoes if you desire, but this changes the calories.

Recipe Ingredients for Vegetable Soup w/ Ground Turkey, Peas, Vegs & Barley

328 g ground turkey (1 lb)
64 oz Low Sodium V8 juice
14 1/2 oz beef broth (can)
16 oz green peas (frozen pkg)
16 oz broccoli (frozen chopped pkg)
16 oz green beans (frozen pkg)
1/2 cup barley (dry)
1 cup mushrooms (sliced)
1 med onion (chopped)
1/2 t of salt
1/4 t of pepper
1 clove garlic
2 t oregano
1 cup water
1 clove garlic
2 t of Oregano

Recipe Directions for Vegetable Soup w/ Ground Turkey, Peas, Vegs & Barley

  1. Cook ground Turkey in pan.

  2. Drain grease as desired.

  3. Add other ingredients.

  4. Simmer to desired taste and consistency.

  5. Enjoy! Very healthy!

  6. Season your cup with hot sauce (Tobasco or Louisiana) if you individually want a little kick!
