Vegetables only in a chicken broth (no meat)

Recipe Ingredients for Vegetable Soup in Chicken Broth

8 oz water
2 quart broth, chicken, organic, free range
16 oz carrots, baby, diced
16 oz celery, diced
31 oz beans, kidney, dark red
5 oz soy sauce
1 oz lemon juice
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Vegetable Soup in Chicken Broth

  1. Add water to pot and bring to a simmer

  2. Add diced baby carrots, stirring until slightly soft (about five minutes)

  3. Add chicken broth, diced celery, soy sauce, lemon juice, salt and pepper (to taste)

  4. Bring back to a simmer, then add kidney beans

  5. Continue to simmer and stir until vegetables are at desired softness

  6. Remove from heat and serve immediately
