Sacred Heart's recipe for vegetable soup.

Recipe Ingredients for Vegetable Soup w/ beef

32 ounces frozen green beans
32 ounces frozen carrots
32 ounces stewed tomatoes
5 stalks celery
3 large green onion
2 bell peppers
32 ounces beef broth
1 1/2 pounds beef stew meat

Recipe Directions for Vegetable Soup w/ beef

  1. Season beef and simmer in beef broth on low for 1 hour.

  2. While beef is simmering, cut celery, bell pepper and green onion into small pieces.

  3. After an hour, remove beef and set aside.

  4. Add all veggies. Season with salt, pepper curry, parsley, if desired, or bouillon, hot or Worcestershire sauce. Cover with water. Boil fast for 10 minutes. Reduce to simmer and continue to cook until veggies are tender.

  5. Add beef back to soup and simmer for another 5 minutes.
