Version of the Swiss rosti recipe

Recipe Ingredients for Vegetable rosti

570 g potatos
200 g onions
200 g fennels
120 g carrots
2 eggs
10 g garlic
10 g parsley
5 g butter
25 g breadcrumbs
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp rosemary
1/10 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Vegetable rosti

  1. Grate carrots, potatos. Shop the onions and slice the fennels thinly. Cut the garlic in little bits.

  2. In the meantime heat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit I think).

  3. Mix all but butter and breadcrumbs. Spread the butter and sprinkle the breadcrumbs onto the pan to prevent sticking.

  4. Pour the mixture into the pan. It should be a rather thin layer. Round pans are usually used.

  5. Bake until ready.

  6. You can add cheese or some other source of protein for a complete meal.

  7. You can probably vary the vegetables. This was a test with what was in the fridge.
