lovely accomplament to sausage and bean hotpot or casserole.

Recipe Ingredients for vegetable rice

5 oz rice-basmati, brown dry
5 oz frozen peas, defrosted
5 oz frozen sweet corn
1 small red onion, chopped finely
1 garlic clove, chopped finely
5 grams (marigold)Bouillon-swiss vegetable, powder
1 pint water
1/2 tablespoon olive oil

Recipe Directions for vegetable rice

  1. Fry off the onion.

  2. Bring the water to boil and add the stock, now add the defrosted peas, garlic, fried onion and rice and cook rice till tender.

  3. drain any excess liquid and serve hot.
