Thick vegetable chicken and dumplings soup for main course. Servings is 2 cups.

Recipe Ingredients for Vegetable Chicken and Dumplings

4 cups chicken breasts, diced, bone and skin removed
2 quarts water
1 tsp poultry seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 medium onion
1/2 red bell pepper
1/2 yellow bell pepper
1/2 green bell pepper
1/4 head bok choy
2 stalks celery
2 carrots medium
3 cups bisquick
1 cup milk

Recipe Directions for Vegetable Chicken and Dumplings

  1. Big pot. Add water and chicken breasts raw.

  2. Cook until done and cool and debone. Chop or dice. Equals about 2 chicken breasts.

  3. Strain liquid. Add seasonings. Add all vegetables, chopped or diced. Cook to desired doneness.

  4. Add 1 1/2 inch dough dumplings to hot but not boiling liquid and cook about 5 to 10 minutes until done in center. minutes.

  5. Add cooked chicken and serve.
