Recipe Ingredients for Vegetable & barley soup

2 1/2 cups tomatoe puree
1 cup corn
1 cup peas
1 cup carrots
2 cups green beans
1 1/2 cup barley (1/2 c dry)
1 cup celery
1 cup onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp sage
1/2 tsp thyme
1/3 cups great northern beans (1.5 cups cooked)
16 cups water

Recipe Directions for Vegetable & barley soup

  1. boil ingredients for a couple of hours until reduced and barley is tender

  2. season and serve
