Vegella is the vegan's nutella made with beans and low-fat cocoa powder. 48 is the number of tbsp it makes.

Recipe Ingredients for Vegella - Vegan's Nutella

1 cup black beans, cooked, driened without salt
1 cup soy milk, fortified with calcium
2 tsp agar
5 tbsp cocoa powder

Recipe Directions for Vegella - Vegan's Nutella

  1. Black beans are optional, you can use any kind of beans you have at the moment.

  2. Be sure the beans are well cooked and soft. Drin them and pour into the food processor. Add the milk, cocoa powder and 90 drops of your favorite liquid sweetener, zero calorie. Here in Italy we have one called "Tic", it has zero calorie, zero carb and zero fats.

  3. Blend on high speed until mixture is smooth and there are no lumps! It's important. NO LUMPS!!!

  4. Transfer into a deep saucepan and heat over a medium high heat, stirring constantly. Once heated, add the agar flackes and whisk vigorousely to dissolve it well. Bring the heat at low and continue to cook, while constantly stirring, about 5 minutes more.

  5. Remove from heat, pour into a jar (you can use an old nutella jar) and place in the refrigerator. Chill over night before you try it.

  6. In stead of the liquid seetener you can use "Splenda" (1/2 cup) but add 1 more cup of milk.
