Recipe Ingredients for Vegan wheat brown gravy

10 grams red star nutritional yeast
15 grams whole wheat pastry flour
1 cups water
1 tsp Vegetable Broth Powder
1 tbsp water (braggs aminos)
1/2 tsp onion (grated)
1/4 tsp garlic powder

Recipe Directions for Vegan wheat brown gravy

  1. In a small non-stick skillet, whisk nutritional yeast and flour together and toast over medium heat until it smells toasty, about 4 minutes.

  2. Transfer to a medium saucepan and whisk in remaining ingredients.

  3. Bring to a boil and allow to thicken as desired.

  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  5. For an even thicker gravy, mix 1 tbsp of cornstarch with 2 tbsp of water and pour it in to the gravy.
