Makes 5 waffles, up to 10 servings

Recipe Ingredients for Vegan Waffles

2 c. flour
2 T. canola oil
1 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. applesauce
2 1/2 c. soy milk
2 t. baking soda

Recipe Directions for Vegan Waffles

Mix dry ingredients together, dash salt. Mix wet ingredients together. Combine and add 3 T. wheat germ (oatmeal, coconut, pecans, etc.). Heat waffle iron to highest setting, spray with Pam and make waffles, taking care to cook throughout. Must be very brown to ensure cooking.
