These are very sweet. I make these when I'm craving a doughnut or something for breakfast. They are also very heavy which I like. You can eat one or two and not be hungry for hours afterward.

Recipe Ingredients for Vegan Sweet Bran Muffins

1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup wheat bran
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons baking powder
3 tablespoons applesauce
3 tablespoons honey
2 bananas
1 cup almond milk

Recipe Directions for Vegan Sweet Bran Muffins

  1. Preheat oven at 375 degrees

  2. Mix all dry ingredients together

  3. Mash up bananas really well

  4. Add all wet ingredients to dry ingredients

  5. Lightly grease muffin tin

  6. Bake for 20-30 minutes.
