Swapped chocolate chips for raisins, otherwise the same. But with chocolate chips, I guess it's not vegan anymore.

Recipe Ingredients for Vegan Oatmeal Cookies - Chocolate chips

1 1/2 (136g) bananas
1/2 cup applesauce
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 tbsp white flour
1 1/4 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
3/4 cup oatmeal
2 tbsp chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Vegan Oatmeal Cookies - Chocolate chips

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. Blend bananas, applesauce, vanilla and brown sugar in blender until creamy.

  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.

  4. Add the blended wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well.

  5. Stir in the oatmeal and chocolate chips.

  6. Drop by spoonfuls onto baking sheet. Bake for 20-30 minutes or until just golden brown.
