Vegan oatmeal cookies. You could add any fruit such as raisins, dates, or even nuts. Just like you remember as a kid.

Recipe Ingredients for Vegan Oatmeal Apple Cookies

1 c. Margarine
1 1/2 c. Brown Sugar
1 c. Sugar
1 Ripe Banana
1 T. Vanilla
1 3/4 c. Flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 1/2 c. Rolled Oats
2 c. Fresh Baking Apples

Recipe Directions for Vegan Oatmeal Apple Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 375

  2. Cream the margarine and both sugars together. Add the banana, mix well, and the vanilla. Add the flour, baking powder, oats. Add the apples. The mixture should be almost dry. If too moist, add more flour or oats. sprinkle top with cinnamon.

  3. Bake 12-15 Min on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake longer for a harder cookie. Makes about 3 dozen Cookies
