Recipe Ingredients for Vegan French Toast

1 cup soy milk
2 tbsp flour
1 tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1 pinch of nutmeg
6 slices whole wheat bread

Recipe Directions for Vegan French Toast

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Mix the first 7 ingredients in a small bowl.

  2. Dip the bread slices into the soy milk mixture. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake until golden on both sides, turning once. (The bread can also be cooked in a nonstic griddle until golden on both sides.)
