Recipe Ingredients for Vegan cutlets

0.5 cup Beans, Navy, Mature Seeds
1 cup Vegetable Stock
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
1.33 cup Vital Wheat Gluten
0.33 cup Yeast, Nutritional T6635
1 tsp Garlic Powder
0.5 tsp Onion Powder

Recipe Directions for Vegan cutlets

  1. in a lg pot combine:

  2. [8 c water

  3. 1/4c soy sauce

  4. 1 onion quartered

  5. 3 crushed garlic cloves

  6. 2 vegetable bouillon cubes]

  7. Make cutlets:

  8. Place all ingredients in food processor, process till smooth

  9. turn dough onto lightly floured board & kneed 5 minutes.

  10. cover & let rest 5 minutes

  11. cut into 8 pcs, flatten into thin cutlet

  12. add cutlets to broth & bring to simmer - do not boil

  13. cover & simmer 1 hour, turning about halfway

  14. remove from heat & cool in broth

  15. refrigerate in broth or out, or wrap well & freeze
