Recipe Ingredients for Vegan Cornbread

2 cups cornmeal
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup flax seed
1/4 cup wheat germ
2 cups soymilk
1 tbsp oil

Recipe Directions for Vegan Cornbread

  1. preheat oven to 425; preheat cast iron skillet

  2. add oil to hot skillet

  3. mix dry ingredients

  4. stir in soymilk

  5. pour all into hot skillet

  6. bake until it smells done and is golden brown on top and firm to touch.

  7. about 1/2 hour or so
