Recipe Ingredients for Vegan Chocolate Ginger Cookies

1/2 c whole wheat pastry flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
2 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp sea salt
2 tbsp pure maple syrup
1/2 tsp almond extract
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp molasses
2 tbsp canola oil
1/2 tsp ground ginger

Recipe Directions for Vegan Chocolate Ginger Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. In a small bowl mix together all dry ingredients.

  3. In another small bowl mix together the wet ingredients.

  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix until wet, don't over mix.

  5. Drop by spoonfuls onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet.

  6. Bake cookies for 10-12 minutes or until just barely golden.

  7. Remove from oven and let cool on the sheet for about a minute. Remove from sheet and allow to cool a few more minutes on a cooling rack.
