Recipe Ingredients for Vegan Chocolate Cake


Cake mixture:
680 g Flour - White, Self Raising
450 g caster sugar
100 g cocoa powder
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tbs vinegar
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cup water

Icing:
450 g icing sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup soya margarine
1/4 cup soya milk, sweetened
1 tsp vanilla extract

Recipe Directions for Vegan Chocolate Cake

  1. Cake Mixture:

  2. Mix the dry ingredients

  3. Add the wet ingredients

  4. Stir until smooth

  5. Put in greased cake tin

  6. Put in pre-heated 200 degree oven

  7. Check after 30 mins, if knife comes out clean then done

  8. Icing:

  9. Mix the sugar, salt, and margarine in a very clean bowl

  10. Add the liquid

  11. Beat until smooth, adding more liquid if necessary

  12. Use immediately and rapidly

  13. Spread over a cooled cake with a rubber spatula or blunt knife
