Flavorful vegan chili. can use ground meat instead for carnivorous vesion.

Recipe Ingredients for Vegan Chili

1/2 lb. soy protein
16 oz Dark red kidney beans
14 oz Baked beans (can be vegetarian)
14 oz Stewed tomatoes
6 oz tomato paste
18 oz (Ragu) Sauce - Chunky Onions & Garlic
3 cloves garlic, pressed
1 medium onion, chopped
1 small red pepper, chopped
1 jalapeno pepper, diced
1 tsp. Cayenne pepper
3 tbs. Chili powder
1 tsp Fresh ground pepper
1 tbl Cajun Chef Green Hot Sauce (or other desired flavoring)

Recipe Directions for Vegan Chili

  1. Brown ground stuff in the chili pot or in a skillet.

  2. Combine all ingredients in the chili pot or crock pot and shimmer for several hours.

  3. I prefer to let it sit overnight after cooking for a few hours and then reheat it. It lets the flavor stew.
