Non-dairy cheese sauce alternative for pouring over pasta, veggies, or french fries.

Recipe Ingredients for vegan cheeze sauce

1/2 cup nutritional yeast
1/2 cup unbleached flour
1 cup water
4 tbsp margarine
1 tbsp dry mustard
1 tsp cayenne powder

Recipe Directions for vegan cheeze sauce

  1. In a medium saucepan, whisk the nut. yeast and flour together then whisk in the water. Whisk over medium heat until mixture thickens.

  2. Remove from heat, add margarine and dry mustard and cayenne to taste.

  3. Substitute or add spices to compliment main dish; i.e., oregano for italian dish, etc. Pour over anything you can think of!
