Found at Spark recipes and am adapting.

Recipe Ingredients for Vegan Burgers

1 cup Lentils
1 cup Brown Rice
2 cups Beef Broth
2 cups Water
1 1/2 cups Carrots
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1 1/2 cups Uncooked Oatmeal
1 cup Onion
2 large Egg Whites

Recipe Directions for Vegan Burgers

  1. Cook lentils and rice in 4 cups broth for 45 minutes, simmering over low heat in a covered pan.

  2. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

  3. Shape into patties and cook on griddle or pan (may spray with non-stick spray) over medium heat, until nicely browned (about 6 minutes per side).

  4. OR Bake as a loaf @ 350 for 35 min.
