Recipe Ingredients for Vegan Black Bean Burgers

10 cups black beans, rinsed and drained
3 medium onion, minced
.5 cup garlic
1 cup jalapeno pepper (optional)
400 g vital wheat gluten
8 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup nutritional yeast
1 cup garlic powder
1 cup chili powder
2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup cumin

Recipe Directions for Vegan Black Bean Burgers

  1. Puree most of the beans, except for one cup.

  2. Mince all the vegetables.

  3. Stir it all together.

  4. Make into patties

  5. Bake for 20 minutes on 350
